The Cold Roll Mill consists of left and right coilers, a leading engine arch, a press cylinder, and other auxiliary equipment, with a maximum design speed of 480m/min. The Cold Reversing Mill electrical system adopts Siemens PLC S7-1500 control and supports PROFINET/DP communication, and the transmission system is equipped with a high-performance AC vector inverter to meet the needs of high-precision speed and tension control. The AGC thickness control system integrates monitoring, pre-control, second flow, acceleration and deceleration thickness compensation, and tension AGC functions to ensure the high-precision requirements of finished plates. Precise tension control is achieved through the tension sensor between the racks, the automation system completes sequential control and continuous adjustment, the human-machine interface supports real-time monitoring, fault diagnosis, and online monitoring, and is equipped with multiple safety interlocks to ensure safe operation.

In addition, the full medium-voltage variable frequency drive system of the double-stand tandem cold mill reduces the energy consumption of rolling per ton of steel, which is more energy-efficient than DC transmission. With 70% of the investment of two single cold rolling Mills, the same production capacity is achieved, reducing equipment investment and operating costs; fewer people are allocated in shifts, further reducing labor costs. AGC thickness control and tension control ensure the thickness accuracy of finished plates and improve product quality.
